Year 1987
Length 31 ft
Price
$19,900
The Pearson 31-2 is a classic cruiser-racer.  Her ample sail area and powerful rig work to give her speed, while her below decks design features provide great use of space for stowage and livability.  She was designed by noted yacht designer & naval architect, Bill Shaw, and is the standard keel model.  This boat has sailed many days in varied conditions on Lake Pontchartrain, but would be just as much at home on a long coastal cruise.  She is rigged with self tailing winches and the mainsail can be reefed from the cockpit. There are only 350 HOURS on the Yanmar engine.  She would be great for sailing single-handed, but was built to also be a safe family cruiser. Extra Note:  This vessel is docked in a transferrable slip in a reported hurricane hole.
