1983 Pearson 303 Pearson

The 303s were designed by Bill Shaw to be the biggest 30-footers afloat at the time, maximizing space for coastal cruising comfort. They were also built for balance & stability, with a seakindly motion as the goal. Other great features of these boats are the broad beam, shoal draft, dry ride, and "big boat" feel. She boasts an integrated lead keel, eliminating concerns about keel bolts, and a skeg-hung rudder helps with tracking on downwind legs. These are comfortable coastal cruisers, which can be single handed, or easily be sailed by two. She has been berthed in fresh water and sailed in the brackish waters of Lake Pontchartrain, which has Gulf of Mexico access. Her fresh water slip in Prieto Marina in Mandeville, LA is transferrable.
