location icon Mandeville, Louisiana
Year 1981
Length 43 ft
Price
$67,500
PRICE REDUCED to $67,500 (originally $89,000) The Slocum 43 was designed to be the perfect blue water cruising boat, strong, beautiful, and comfortable.  The well known Passport 42 was based off of the same design.  Cutter rigged and boasting a skeg hung rudder, she was made for sailing the world.  She boasts a heavy displacement, stiff rig, and canoe stern.  However, unlike many canoe stern vessels, she has plenty of room in the cockpit, with unbelievably large lazarettes for storage.  One of 60 built at the Hai-O-Yacht Building Company in Taiwan, she is beautifully handcrafted and filled with incredible teak below decks.   The galley is spacious, U shaped for safe meal prep underway, and provides copious amounts of storage for provisioning.  The head too is spacious and even has a bath tub!  This boat was made to take you safely wherever it is you might dream of going.
