Allied SEAWIND-MKII - main image

1977 Allied Seawind MKII

location icon Mandeville, Louisiana
Year 1977
Length 32 ft
Price
$29,900
This Allied Seawind MKII was originally built as a ketch, but was skillfully converted to the more sought after cutter rigged sloop.  A substantial, custom bowsprit was added to this vessel when the conversion was done.  The mainsail, jib, & staysail are less than 5 years old and in like new condition.  Double headstays allow for use of twin downwind jibs for great cruising.  A cut away full keel provides stability in a seaway.  Extra height to her stanchions, 30" rather than the more commonly seen 24," provide extra security onboard, as does the fairly high toe rail.
